Marketing Coordinator of Mingyian

Though I am currently the marketing coordinator, my job description is more akin to that of a creative director. I am the lead concept/graphic designer for my current company, Mingyian. I develop a concept and english copy that is translated into Chinese based on our target audience. Here are some of the concepts I conceived.

1. Jessie J's Animated Hair twins.
Jessie J has one of the least consistent hair styles in the entertainment industry. She has too many "signature" looks to count. We found some of her animated twins and had the audience vote for the closest lookalike. See the full event here: http://mingyian.com/Event/Detail/EventID/150

2. The MVPs
After Stephen Curry was named the 2014-2015 NBA MVP, I came up with a series of categories that the NBA should award players. These included categories like most valuable weiboer, sneakerhead, charitable, beard, etc. See the full event here: http://mingyian.com/Event/Detail/EventID/145

I have lead the development on all the events published on the site. Please go to the full site http://mingyian.com/ to see more of my design.

RMA Philadelphia T-shirt design

Recently I was commissioned by RMA Philadelphia to create a graphic for a t-shirt to wear to an upcoming event. The OBGYN practice asked for a design that depicted sperm chasing an egg. The above are the three concepts that were sent to them. The practice favored the first design of the three.

OPI Nail Polish Campaign

These two are pieces of a recent campaign I worked on for one of my university classes. The client would be OPI nail polish. The idea behind this campaign is that your nails are an important part of your appearance. Therefore, one should view them as an extension of their outfit. The target audience is late teen to early 40s, particularly the female population. The goal is to appeal to a younger audience and extend the brand's age range.

Place Card Design

Recently I was commissioned to create place cards for a Bar Mitzvah. The theme of the party was "Rock and Roll". The cards were designed to emulate wearable, traditional, backstage passes.  Each table was designated with a different famous band's name, and thus there are 5 different designs as well as the standard back.

Doctors Without Borders

This campaign was created for the non-profit organization, Doctors Without Borders. It was created in order to create awareness and raise money to support this organization. The target audience is people who are in their mid-20s and up who can afford to help support this cause. The phrase "Caring Causes Breakthroughs" along with the broken wall imagery are the main components in this piece.

This campaign was designed for Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The ad uses dictionary definitions of the word "temple" to describe different kinds of temples. The target audience is students who are interested in continuing their education.
